Two suspects in a homicide in Fisher Branch Cree Nation have not been apprehended.
RCMP have issued a Warrant of Arrest out for Perry Durocher, 19, and Jerome Moore, 23, with both having been charged with Manslaughter in relation to this homicide.
However, keep in mind that section 11(d) of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms guarantees the right of any person charged with an offence to be presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.

On June 1, 2024, Fisher Branch RCMP responded to a report of a missing person from the Fisher River Cree Nation.
This morning, multiple resources, including RCMP Major Crime Services, D Division Search and Rescue and Police Dog Services, attended to the community to assist with the search.
Late this afternoon, the body of a 51-year-old male from the Fisher River Cree Nation, had been located in the RM of Fisher. The death is being treated as a homicide.
The victim appears to have been targeted and there is no indication of any ongoing threat to public safety.
On June 5, 2024, the investigation into the death of the 51-year-old male, from Fisher River Cree Nation, led to the arrest of two female youths (16, 14), both from Fisher River Cree Nation, who have been charged with Manslaughter. They remain in police custody.
Durocher is believed to be in Winnipeg and Moore is believed to be in Norway House.
Once again, the RCMP ask people not to approach any of the two but are urged to report any information to the RCMP.
