Selkirk RCMP responded to a report of mischief at an empty daycare building in the RM of East St. Paul on August 5.

Police were called to the building on McGregor Farm Road at approximately 8:47 a.m.

RCMP said the daycare had not been serviced for more than a year. Investigators believe the damage occurred sometime during the two weeks before it was reported.

Photographs taken at the building show damage inside and outside the property, including missing ceiling panels, exposed wiring and the removal of exterior security cameras.

The daycare was constructed at the site of the former Meadows Golf Course but has remained vacant since its completion.

No suspect has been identified, and the RCMP investigation has concluded.

An object is outside of building.

Security cameras gone.
